Sic Transit ft. Tartiana

The series begins with a simple visual language: black against white, hard light, sharp shadows, and a subject given nowhere to disappear. The stripped-back environment makes every gesture feel intentional, turning posture, expression, and silhouette into the primary elements of the image.

Within the photographic timeline that clarity begins to fracture. Shadows stretch beyond the body. Color separates at the edges. Multiple versions of the same figure begin to occupy the frame at once, transforming something initially direct and controlled into something more uncertain.

The campaign explores the instability of identity and perception; the difference between who we are, who we believe ourselves to be, and the versions of us that exist in the minds of other people. We spend our lives constructing an image of ourselves, but that image is never entirely ours to control. Perspective shifts. Memory distorts. Confidence and vulnerability can exist in the same body at the same time.

What remains is not a single definitive version of a person, but a collection of impressions: composed and exposed, familiar and distorted, real and imagined.
